Brine Concentration in Desalination plants

For various reasons, it can be necessary and useful for desalination plants to increase brine concentration (reverse osmosis and thermal processes) using TERRAWATER technology.

This can help with achieving standard targets, ranging from wastewater reduction through to ZLD. However, producing wastewater from the brine can also increase the output rate.
